2006 National Meeting & Celebration date set

Many announcements and surprises!

VANCOUVER, Wash. (October 3, 2006) — The USSBA invites all members to attend the 2006 National Meeting and Season Celebration on Saturday, November 4th. In addition to the regular meeting, Paul White will be presenting a video season review and Jim DeFord will be presenting a photo season review. Come and re-live a most exciting season!

Your board of directors are working very hard in preparing for the 2007 season and we will have some very exciting announcements at the meeting. We highly encourage all members to attend. If you are not yet a USSBA member and plan on joining for 2007 you too are encouraged to attend. In addition to the officer and board of directors elections there are several other items to be introduced at the meeting that will affect the 2007 racing season and beyond.

We have reserved a block of rooms for the event and you must reserve your room no later than October 21st to take advantage of the $69.95 + tax pricing. This price is for a king room for either 1 or 2 persons. For additional guests please consult with the Red Lion Rep. When placing your reservation let the customer rep know you are with the US SPRINT BOAT ASSOCIATION. Call 541-276-6111 to make your reservation. The number of rooms is limited so call soon.

The dinner, that same evening, is $25.14 per person. This price includes the required 20% gratuity. This can be paid that evening before dinner. You must RSVP no later than October 25th with the number of people attending the dinner. Each guest has a choice of either Chicken Picatta or Roasted Beef Sirloin. Coffee and milk will be provided with your dinner and there will also be a no-host bar available for adult beverages. USSBA brings in $2600

Kennewick, Wash. (April 2, 2006) — From a golden chest-full of gift certificates available in Ontario, Oregon from haircuts to front-end alignments, to fresh pies from Shari's restaurants in Kennewick, and a Tony Stewart 2006 NASCAR Championship Jacket, the 2006 USSBA Auction had it all!

The auction is always one of those thankless jobs. The USSBA truly thanks everyone for participating. Our organization consists of many volunteers and your efforts are appreciated.

Our auctioneers, Jessie and Rocky did a great job. When the PA amp failed they had things back up and running within 10 minutes. They were both sweating bullets and they recovered nicely. We'll look forward to employing them for the 2007 USSBA Auction.

Celeste was the Jewel of the Night and left us all in stitches as she "modeled" the majority of the items offered up for sale. You should have seen her in the motorcycle leathers and the Samurai Swords...

Our first race is on June 3rd at Marsing. Get your boats setup, 'cause everyone's ready to race!!!

USSBA Meeting to be held April 1st

All members highly encouraged to attend this important USSBA Regular Meeting

Kennewick, Wash. (March 7, 2006) — An official, regular USSBA membership meeting will be held prior to the USSBA auction on April 1, 2005. It cannot be stressed enough that all members are highly encouraged to attend. Decisions affecting the 2006 season will be made at this meeting. Attendance by all members is imperative.

Grab it all and make the haul down to The Pub in Kennewick for the 2006 USSBA Auction!!
